Personal Project

Jason Gould has spent the past few weeks working on a personal project photographing the players and teams competing in the NY Rugby Sevens Tournament, the largest and longest running sevens tournament in the USA. In this its 55th year the tournament attracted teams from across North America and Canada.
Rugby, while not often associated with the USA, is ever growing in popularity with the vast number of its players and fans coming from collegiate Rugby and the military. In a follow-up to the project, Jason emphasised this point by photographing the teams from West Point US Military Academy & Kutztown University in one of their regular league games.
