Matthew trained and started working as a theatre, film and interior designer. However, after decorating Mario Testino’s Paris apartment he discovered the world of prop styling. For 8 years he worked for both Mario and Patrick Kinmonth on many of their projects.
Matthew's approach is inspired by finding the narrative within a project. ‘Visual storytelling’ he likes to call it. His use of ideas and materials is inventive and in Mario’s words “Matthew’s attention to detail is impeccable”.
